Civ BE Disc

If someone gets me Civ BE (On a disc for my birthday) will i be able to get it on steam in my library ?

It worked with BF4 last year but i am not sure about civ BE

I meant i could get it on a disc and activate it on origin

I am wondering whether by buying the disk i can activate the game on steam
