Intel or AMD Cpu?

The AMD is perfectly fine for what you want to do, i've had mine for 8 years and never had any problems running extensive programs as well as high def games.

i´m no fan of AMD at all. but maybe it will work well.

 

so if you not going to buy a XEON, which is a fault in my eyes you should buy the i5-4690K

maybe that one       Intel® Xeon® Processor E3-1276 v3          http://ark.intel.com/de/products/80915/Intel-Xeon-Processor-E3-1276-v3-8M-Cache-3_60-GHz

i think a less expensive one would also work great, but i would call that one equal or bette than the 4690K because of it´s similar arcitechture and higher Turbo Boost....
