How long do monitors last?

I have 3 monitors, One is about 2 years old, one is about 3 years and another only 1 month. How long are they supposed to last? My guess is around 5 years?

Basically, until you break them. Monitors don't become obsolete fast, as long as the interface (dvi, hdmi, dp) stays supported.

5 years isn't a bad time to keep a display, if it's CFL backlit they start to degrade over time, just the nature of the technology.

dont led's have a lifespan? like mx cherry switches are supposed to be 50 million clicks I could have sworn when I was tv shopping a while back that certain types of led's had a life span rated in hours but I could be wrong.
