Changing voltage safely using EVGA Precision X

Im going to using a GTX 780 (Even though there great without oc)

 

But i saw a guide oc it but they didnt exactly fiddle with the voltage.

 

If i were up the voltage, is it by increments and how do you know how much voltage your feeding it is safe?

You can crank it up all the way on stock bios if the heat doesn't get you.

Well i was thinking of boosting the base and memory clock. Of course with proper Cooling

OK? I'm a little confused as to what you're asking then.

I thought you were asking about voltages and if they could damage your card.

Okay lets just say, If i were to have modified things other than voltage but the temperatures are still under control. Is it safe to add extra volts to the GPU?

Most modern Nvidia GPU's will only allow a maximum of 1.212v, it's hardly an increase so just go ahead and turn it to that.

If overclocked, is it safe to add voltage? Yes, it is very safe and also used to make overclocks more stable.
