Missing "Target GPU Temp" in CCC

Trashcan
Go to solution Solved by SkilledRebuilds,

It's a XFX DD. But I have an EK fullcover block.

This one?

So non-reference... I doubt the temp control is there for non-reference cards.

Most likely Only for stock reference cooling. Altho I do not have one, so cannot provide further info whether thats the actual case..

But.. my CCC doesnt have the temp slider either (Gigabyte aftermarket 290)

switch the bios to silent mode. uber mode disables target temp.

While it may not apply to non-reference, worth a shot.

I'm trying to set a target temp for my 290X, but for some reason it's not there. Here's a screenie of my CCC. I'm running 14.7 drivers.

Reference cooler?

Aftermarket cooling?

Which 290x cooling shroud do you have...?

If its aftermarket thats normal...

If its the reference cooler, tweet & email AMD and ask them why its missing from 14.7 for reference cards.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

But I should take it personally. I gave you the correct answer and you gave the guy who didn't know best answer. best not to correct my grammar when you can't use the forum the way it was intended.
