Just wondering

I have formated PC's milion times and also notebooks. But I just bought brand new notebook HP with FreeOS preinstalled. When I turn it on it only loads C:\\  and it is basicly a DOS. So I just insert my USB win8.1, restart laptop, enter bios and change boot to USB and format HDD and install win8.1 on it. So just normal installing or something else?

Installing Windows 8.1 from a USB is the same as installing from a disk. Just make sure that the USB is set to boot first or start it from the boot menu.
