Powerline question

If I used 2 of these would it work like a regular powerline kit?

Yes, they will.

 

And while it's a fantastic deal that should be "good enough" for most uses it's worth noting that it is an AV200 adapter. You'll only get ~40Mbps or so out of it, I know this because I have a pair of AV200 adapters. But whenever someone on the forums says "which powerline adapter should I get" I'll always point them to an AV600 kit. Yes in this case it's ~5x the price but it does run at ~4x the speed. 40Mbps is in theory enough for a lot of things but going from 40Mbps to 160Mbps? That's the difference between some videos buffering and never seeing any videos buffer. Or the difference between being able to drop an AP on it and it being a bottleneck and it not being a bottleneck at all.

 

With that particular deal on the AV200 adapter? Yeah, probably not. At the usual sort of prices? Go for the AV600 every time.
