My friends coming over in 20 minutes to build with me its gonna be his 2nd time building, and my first time, and he says to clean the CPU with isopropyl alcohol is that a good idea?

any alcohol up from 70% with no additives works well.

Well if you are using a new CPU then you dont have to use alcohol. It should already be clean.

Is it a new CPU? Then you don't need to wipe it down.

Use coffee filters or a lint free cloth.....

Well.. That's okay. Aside from that check out Carey Holzman on YouTube. He's one of the very best when it comes to explaining things and his videos are very informative. No offense to LTT tho.. :)
