Switch from AMD to Nvidia.

I currently have an AMD GPU (MSI 7790) and in 1 day I will be switch to a Nvidia card (Gigabyte GTX 750Ti). Can you guys tell me if there is anything I should note when swtiching from AMD to Nvidia. Are there any things I need to change on my computer etc? Thanks as always <3

Not really. Only thing to remember is to download up-to-date drivers when you get your Nvidia card. Deleting/uninstalling Radeon drivers would clear up some drive room.

Completely wipe the AMD drivers before you put in the new GPU, that's about it.

I guess before installing drivers for the NVIDIA card, uninstall drivers for AMD card first and then put in your new gpu and install new drivers.

That's not an upgrade why are you switching? Performance in those two cards is nearly identical.

You should note that you're doing a side-grade. You should save up for something better unless you have a really good reason replacing the card.

Not really, you still get the 'gimics' from Nvidia... Not trying to say that in a bad way though.

Even then, it makes a lot more sense to just save up for a 760.

The 750 ti and the 7790 are pretty much on equal footing in regards to performance...
