Any 80 Plus Bronze or higher rated 600W will be enough for your rig. Since you have an unlocked CPU, an extra 50W is good for OC headroom. http://www.frys.com/product/7856659?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

What screen resolution are you running? Do you need hyperthreading? I highly recommend you to not get an i7, an i5 will be enough.

I already have the stuff just need a psu. And both stores don't sell seasonic

Just because the store doesn't sell Seasonic branded PSU's doesn't mean it doesn't sell PSU's that are made by Seasonic

I would look it up for you but I'm on my phone right now

"Rawr XD"

You could have just replied in that other thread. Well, whatever.

Seasonic does manufactured some good PSUs, but they aren't the only one that manufactured and/or sells quality units. You shouldn't limit yourself with just them; otherwise, you may be missing out on some excellent deals.

Do you have any plans to SLI? Also, what is your budget?

Simplest way is to ask people about certain units you're considering. Or look up the power supply on this website. http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page447.htm

Seasonic is a good manufacturer, but not the only good manufacturer. The quality of the power supply itself is more important than the manufacturer or brand label.

RM Series is good but often expensive. They use low quality secondary capacitors, so they're not my first choice by far.

550W should easily be enough for a single 770, even with way more case fans than you need.

What's your budget?

If you were considering something around the price of the RM Series, let me recommend the Cooler Master V550S or V650S from Microcenter. Cheaper than the RM Series, though it's only Semi-Modular.

Overclocking*

And if you aren't going to overclock, you should get the i7 4790 and perhaps a cheaper non-Z97 motherboard. The 4790 is the same as the 4790k, but cheaper and locked so you can't overclock.

Yep, after looking at Frys I would still suggest a V550S or V650S from MicroCenter.

Also, you don't need 8 fans to keep your PC cool. It will likely be loud, so you'll have to undervolt or otherwise control the fans. Why do you want so many?

I already have everything, just need a good, reliable PSU.

But thanks for the recommendations. Is it good to have a little extra headroom?

How good would this PSU be?

@grimmjow660 Yep they're both good units. The AX750 is based on Seasonics' X Series. Headroom can be useful if you want to upgrade, especially if you will probably add another GPU. If you aren't sure, then don't bother buying an overkill power supply to handle SLI/Crossfire. Most of the time when people say "I will probably add another R9 280X or whatever 6 months down the line" they don't.

You don't need 750W for a single 770. 550W is easily enough, especially if you aren't going to be overclocking an unlocked CPU. A 770 uses around 230W and the CPU has an 84W TDP.
