Question about my Windows installation.

I'll be formatting my HDD soon because I just order a new MOBO, PSU, Case and GPU. Can I still use the same 8.1 key that I did for this install?

Yep. Deactivate it first just to be safe. I'll get a link for how to in a moment and edit it here.

afaik since windows 8 you don't even need to deactivate it. it just red flags if two pc's use the same key at a time.

this.  as long as you deactivate it, it should work just fine.
