Is it possible to convert a rubber dome keyboard to a mechanical keyboard?

That's why you make it yourself like you did

agreed i sure the hell didn't make it because it was going to really be cheaper then buying one. I made it because i wanted to make my keyboard 

 

I also have a vertical mill, metal lathe, a few sheet metal brakes, drill press, welders and hand tools you know the things that would be needed for basic fabrication... hell my brother is building a truck from some parts out back right now lol

does anyone know if there are any keyboard pcbs meant for diy keyboards that i can by and wire my switches to needs to be usb

This is an old thread, but to answer this, yes, it is. You need some knowledge of PCB design software like KiCAD, a Dremel, a multimeter, and a steady hand.
