PC Build (SFF or Mid Tower?)

Hey Guys!

Well I'm new to the linustechtips forum.... But anyways I need help. I want to make a SFF Mid-tier Gaming Rig and here are the Specs for it:

Case: Aerocool DS Cube
Mobo: Gigabyte z97mx gaming 5
Ram: G.Skill Ripjaws X 8gb (2x 4gb)
CPU: Intel Core i5 4460
GPU: HIS Iceq Radeon r9 280
PSU:  Fractal Design Integra 750w
Liquid Cooler: Intel TS13X Closed Loop

The Questions:
1. Are there any mobos better than the z97mx in that price range? 
2.For my specs, do I really need a 750w psu? Are there better options? Can my specs handle something like 650w?
3.Any other options you guys can suggest?

I Chose a Z series Mobo coz the price difference between a h97 and a z97 mobo here is very very small.

Im still trying to look for K Cpus here thats why.

Ok so I wont be getting the iceq then huh? Then will a Sapphire r9 270x perform like the iceq r9 280?? Got any suggestions

Im talking about the TOXIC version of the card. And another reason for liquid cooling if I dont find any intel k's here, the aerocool ds cube is small. heat might be a problem and I dont like the stock heat sink fans of intel and tower heat sinks.
