I would like to make my side panel look like this :

But i dont know whether i should send it in and get it worked on or do it myself.

Im not very good with power tools and the thought of cutting a hole gets me worried i will break it.

also if there are any other websites you can send it in too tell me bc this ones quite expensive

If you are interesting in cutting a dremel tool with a reinforced cutting wheel works well, you'd want to tape off the area with masking tape, mark the lines and cut away from the lines then finalize the size by filing to them. As long as you have patience and a steady hand it's not too difficult, but it doesn't take time to get it right. 

 

If you plan on getting it done by someone, I'd suggest finding local machine shops or fabrication shops since they would have the necessary tools to probably laser cut that out.

I'd probably go with glass due to clarity reasons personally but if you tend to move it a lot and for safety I'd use something like 1/8" acrylic/plexiglass.
