Hello forum!

I've been looking into building a new pc(My first build), and looking to get Windows 8.

G2A is probably the way I will go, simply beacuse it's so damn cheap!

Though, can I trust G2A? I know it's legit, but are the keys legit, and will last me a lifetime, if I so desire? Like, it wont randomly get blocked all of the sudden, because the key apparently was invalid/illegal/whatever.

Second question. I see there is a price difference between Windows 8, and Windows 8.1

Now, as far as I know, if you own Windows 8, an upgrade to Windows 8.1 is free. So why is Windows 8.1 being charged more, than Windows 8, if you could just: Install Windows 8 -> Install everything(Drivers, etc.) -> Run Windows Update -> Get Windows 8.1 for free.

So in the end, should I get a Windows 8 key from G2A?

Thanks in advance

Windows 8 is so cheap because it's now 'outdated'. It still works, yes, but stores would be trying to get rid of them to replace it with 8.1 discs. That said, I wouldn't buy from G2A.

Normandy - Intel Core i5 3470, 8 GB Corsair Vengenace LP, EVGA GTX 960 SSC, Gigabyte GA-Z77M-D3H-MVP, WD Blue 1 TB, Seagate 320 GB (steam), Seagate 320 GB (experimental, second OS, etc), Windows 8.1 + Ubuntu 14.10

Garrus - HP Stream 11

Wow, that was a fast reply, thanks guys!

Okay, that is giving me second thoughts.

Any place you recommend buying just a key, at a fairly decent price? Right now I am looking at a legit one but at ~100$, but I'd be glad if it were possible to get cheaper.
