Exactly. I dont want to have to fiddle with ubuntu. I do use ubuntu for my laptops though...

Yeah, I installed Ubuntu on my laptop. It seems to work as well as windows for everything I want to do. I believe my laptop has the same graphics core as a GT210, so I'm not planning on playing any real games any time soon.

Well, if your 10 year old laptop is still working today, you definitely chose a good laptop.

Well I replaced the CPU....And I do it in good shape. Its a dell inspiron 1501. Maybe its not 10 yo...
