R9 270 Temps

When i am running Metro 2033 my gpu gets up to 70*C on High 1680-1050 resolution. Is that normal? I oc'ed it - core clock 1050, Memory clock 1500. Should i lower it?

If you are having MSI R9 270X then it's not that fine,just add a fan it will help to lower the temperature,you can get really cheap good fans these days,also turn on the air conditoning while gaming really brings down the temperature.Normal safe temperature is from 30 to 65 under full load.

When it get's above 94 degrees you should worry, AMD cards can handle quite the heat.

It can handle 90 but i am saying my particular card(msi r9 270x) goes above 70 degrees at normal clock while gaming then you gotta take a look at your cooling,something is wrong.

Yeah,overheating hardware will either damage it or cause bsod.

I have sapphire r9 270.
and 70 degree is absolutely fine.

I would say that temps between 80 to 90 degrees are also OK if u r overclocking.
