Hi!

I use the Maximus VI Hero from Asus with 16GB of 1866 Corsair Vengeance RAM, and I would like to turn some of it into a RAMDisk.

However Asus own RAMDisk does not work for me!

All it says when I create a RAMDisk, is "Cannot create RAMDisk, please close all running applications and try again, or restart your computer"

I have done this several times, still does not work!

What do I do? :(

Why would you make a 8gb disk? Get 64gigs and make 32 or 48 of em to a ram disk

I'm not going to store any large data on it, only fast small ease to access garbage, not going to buy any sort of SSD for that and I dont want to waste space for slow USB's or invest in an external drive for that small amount of data.

Use other software? Asrock's ramdisk crashes when I try any benchmark on it :/

well what do you have the internet for? off to search!
