Question regarding Amp

Go to solution Solved by MayflowerElectronics,

You need a 3.5mm to RCA cable. Plug the 3.5mm into the computer and use the RCA's and plug it into the CD ports. The speaker outputs work as normal.

Hey Guys!

Since I'm still stuck with my Z623 from Logitech and I just want something a little more high end, I decided to get a decent 2.0 speaker set, since I'm now primarely using headphones for gaming and I'm using them for listening to music.

Anyways, my mom still has an old amp from Grundig (V8300 Mk2) and I was wondering if I can use this one on my PC, since passive speakers are usually cheaper than active ones.

The connections are these:

Then I'm also wondering if it would support another speaker, a subwoofer for example if I decide that I want even more bass.

Thanks in advance,

Homicidium

If you get a subwoofer in the future you'll need an active one (most are active anyways).

Awesome! Since they're active I don't need to look after RMS or anything, correct? I'm currently looking into Subs from M - Audio or Audioengine, and since I guess they're active, I don't need to look out for something that won't blow up my amp? :D

Correct, you don't have to work about amp matching.
