M290x vs 870M

Most 870M notebooks cost more ($100-200 more generally) Does the performance/thermals/noise of the 870 make it worth ponying up from an M290x for the 870?

The 870m is just slightly more powerful, IMO it's not worth the extra $300 for the 870m over the M290X

it not only has a 870 but also an intel quad core processor, which is MUCH MUCH faster, for only $90 more

I'm Canadian, so it is around $1500.

do you care about battery life, thickness and such? assuming you don't want a A10 laptop with a M290x  because that all I can really find :'( 

Edit: if you get an intel cpu with than 870m... if you can find intel + m290x and battery life isn't the biggest deal in the world go with that.
