quick question power supply wasnt working then i opened it up cleaned it out then i used paperclip trick it started. when i take off paper clip it stops normal or not? i think the psu stays on after taking clip out but not sure..

It is normal because by connecting the green and black pin on the 24 pin connector, you are sending a signal to the power supply telling that the computer is in an "on" state. When you remove the clip, it disconnects the circuit thus turning off the power supply.
