command prompt problem

when i type something like ip config it tells me that its not recognized as an internal or external command. I don't remember how to change the search directory.

It's 'ipconfig' and I think you have to be in the directory your Android SDK is in for the fastboot devices to work.

yeah you have to be in the directory that the fastboot and adb executables are to use those commands.

You can either change the directory manually with the 'cd' 'path' command or open the folder in windows explorer hold the shift key right click and click open command window here
