An R9 270 is more than really really good(heck,it runs bf4 on high at 60fps+) and it costs around $180.

If he really can't afford that, then an R7 260X,but I suggest he just gets a little more money because it will be worth it. D:

I want to say the R7 260 or 260x should be in that price range, but I am not 100% sure.

R7 260X is slightly more ($15) but it's worth it imo.

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

Arguing with religious people is like explaining to your mother that online games can't be paused...

I've seen it go for 140, even a 270x at 150

I just looked at the first Amazon link I could find.

Yeah, I agree, the normal price for a 270x is around 180-200, which scares our OP, but maybe 160 could be down to earth still for him, maybe floating in the sky, but anyway, I posted the cheapest prices of all these cards so if he can stretch he can choose whichever.

I run a Radeon 7770 and it runs everything I throw at it extremely well, except TombRaider 2013.

R7 260 is the current gen equivalent and is slightly stronger

why do so many good cases only come in black and white
