I recently had the idea of turning the normal, boring, vanilla skyrim into a super-mega-awesome ultimate Version of skyrim with loads and loads of mods.

There are 2 reasons I want to do this:

1. I wanna do it because I enjoy skyrim but it gets boring after some time and

2. I want to benchmark my freshly overclocked system.

So what I want you guys to do is to send me mods that  will either improve the graphics of the game or the gameplay and see how many of them my system can handle.

I once had one of these, now I've got this.

This is just gonna end up a royal clusterfuck and a waste of time imo. You'll have about 20 people recommending different ENB's, then there is a shit-ton of mods which will end up conflicting with one another. Just stick with Skyrim GEMS, if you're starting to mod, then use Skyrim Nexus and try stuff - it'll end up being a big game of trial and error getting a set of working mods.

Just stay clear of the Steam Workshits, it's awful and full of shit mods.

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

Arguing with religious people is like explaining to your mother that online games can't be paused...

he'll just have to read all the FAQ's to make sure non of the mods conflict with each other.

Use Skyrim Mod Combiner to merge all the graphics together . . . I'm running nearly 230+ mods (cording to mod organizer) and I'm quite stable surprisingly.

Lol, you expect mods to all have a full list of conflicting mods?

As i said before, it will mainly be trial and error. Standalone texture mods, like new armor / weapons wouldn't cause an issue but any mod which has an .esp required to run, will conflict with another mod somewhere down the line.

What actually happens is somewhat in-between. A lot of huge mods will get a ton of feedback in the comments on mods that for sure do or don't work with other mods, and a lot of the time a mod maker will make a list of mods that are sure to not be compatible. But a ton of mod makers also just ignore compatibility and leave the page as it was when they made the mod.

im not saying everyone does, but with some common sense you'll know what conflicts with eachother

aka, dont install two whiterun overhaul mods. or dont install two mods who alter the perk system

Big mods like Climates Of Tamriel etc, will conflict with quite a lot of mods, and since a lot of people use it, you'll find posts/info stating about incompatibility.  But that is not the case for the majority of mods. CoT has been around since Skyrim's early days.

The bigger, older and more well known ones aye.  But smaller mods won't always have info/comments stating incompatibilities, and even if it did, it won't state every conflicting mod.
