Planned Gaming Build

I am attempting to build a gaming computer this fall, but since this is my first computer build, I thought I would try to get some advice on my build. I live in the US, my budget is $1800, I will primarily be using the computer for Star Citizen and various flight sims. I will be using one 27 inch monitor. I already have all the peripherals that I will need and I have a copy of Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium.
Here is the list of parts that I have gone over with some friends; I have purchased some of the core components (CPU, GPU, Motherboard), but I thought I would run it past the forums here to see if anybody had any suggested improvements. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/6vPXVn
