I just need to know whether you want shadowplay and whether you play on 1080p or intend to upgrade to 1440p

G3258 +.... GTX770? Just no...

Location, budget, peripherals, os?

I've done it, it works quite well. Some games don't perform as well as with my i5, but some perform better. I wouldn't recommend it though.

Get a Z97 board, an SSD and not a reference card unless you have a specific colour scheme.. i'd just get the EVGA ACX or you might regret it.

I wouldn't get an ssd if it means sacrificing the cpu or gpu.

uk and btw the g3258 will be overclocked

I'd personally skip the H100i and go with a 4690k and then pick up something like a hyper 212 or AIO later on.

Also, get a Z97 board.

Is a superior build by MILES and is only £60 more than your budget. If you can make that stretch it is very much worth it

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-220g20750xr Recommend this PSU instead of you plan to SLI Nvidia cards in the (near) future.

If you get a 212 EVO instead of the H100i then you are only about £20 over budget

So you're talking about getting a $100 cooler and a $160 motherboard, and you're only talking about spending $70 on the CPU?

You'll get much much better performance out of a $100 board, no aftermarket cooling, and a $230 CPU.. Grab a B85 board or something similar, and get the i5-4690.

Edit: fixed some grammar.

i7 not perfectly stable at 4.4.. #firstworldproblems

how could i reduce the price? just a tiny bit like buying the h100 instead the h100i??

If you're referring to @Archangel1994 , just get a hyper 212, or stick with the stock cooler until you have extra money to get one.

Best way to reduce the price by a small margin is getting a 1TB HDD as opposed to 2TB.

By a bigger margin I recommend a Hyper 212 EVO instead of the H100i.

If you can make the budget stretch though I would go with my build. Remember to pick the proper PSU (CS550M for single card, EVGA 750W for SLI (in the future))

I also want to add that the G3258 is the most overrated CPU ever lol. Yes it is cheap, yes it overclocks quite a bit but games are going to go the 3+ cores/threads route (they have already begun) which makes the G3258 a relatively massive bottleneck.

Theres like 6 games that actually utilize physx... and none of them are severely hindered without it. Physx really shouldnt be a deciding factor.
