I thought something was wrong with my TV because it wouldn't get any signal from HDMI.

It turns out the input was at fault not the TV. I tried to connect HDMI to my main monitor and it didn't work. My pc recognises the monitor but it says no signal. Then i automaticly switched back to DVI which i am using right now.

There is nothing wrong with the cable, I just tested it on my PS3. I have also uninstalled and installed all drivers needed, and tried to switch between the MOBO and GPU HDMI. I've also uninstalled all the windows 8.1 security updates. Nothing worked.

MOBO: MSI Gaming 5

Cpu: i5 4690k

Gpu: Asus Geforce GTX 780

OS: Windows 8.1

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried using different HDMI cables? Maybe yours is broken.

edit: Wow completed skipped over the cable part. Not sure then.

Try looking around in the Nvidia Control Panel. Apart from the onboard Windows ones, there are controls for which ports are outputting what and other things.
