Hey guys,

I was looking forward to build a 400$ pc. I looked at some of my older pcpartpicker saved builds and my previous 400$ isn't 400$ anymore sadly...

I didn't know how to cut down the extra 68$ without loosing much performance , so maby some of you can help me with some other 400$ builds.

This is my older one

Thanks

I would personally recommend an APU in stead of the gpu. However, if you insist on having the 750ti, I would recommend you go for only 4gb of RAM and upgrade later on. Secondly, see if you can try and get a non-modular version of that psu for less. Also, try and see if you can get an Asrock board for cheeper because they generally have better value then Asus. Lastly, you could try and go for a lesser model of the 750ti or even just a 750 if you really want to hit that $400 mark. Hope this helps :)

Does he intend on using shaders with minecraft? Otherwise this is perfect, he shouldnt expect to run everything maxed but this should go fine. And to get a bit more juice you could probably go with the 6300 from AMD if you wanted with a 260x or a 750ti and bf4 on high setttings or even ultra shouldnt be a problem.
