People will believe any thing if they do not know otherwise especially if someone who sounds like they know what they talking about is telling them it exists. So this guy just fooled the blind.

You do know that 99% of people have no idea when it comes to technology

 

You could do this with literally any product, I bet you I could go out with black piece of plastic with an LED in, put some sunglasses on and convince people that I have a virtual reality smart phone

 

People would be like "oh that is google glass I saw that on the news"
