pc wont display upon boot

put together a basic home computer and when i boot up it wont display anything on the screen. ive tried reseating the ram but still nothing.

 

Cpu: A6-5400k

Mobo: Msi a88xm-e35

Memory: G.skill Xjaws (2x2gb)

Psu: EVGA 430w 80+

Storage: 300g seagate hdd

Od: Basic asus cd/dvd

Sounds like a dumb question but is the PSU switch to on?

Did you try to boot it up from the mobo, not using the buttons from your case.

yes, all the fans turn on but it just doesnt display.

im not sure how to do that as i dont see any switches on the mobo

UPDATE

 

reseated the ram and booted with just one of them inserted. Booted fine and loaded up the bios. Not sure why this worked because even before i wouldnt get a single beep from the mobo.
