I bought all my watercooling gear and it's been in use but I needed to dremel some metal out of my case so I moved the 200mm rad that was in the way. As I was moving the rad back one of the fitting started to leak and then (luckily outside the case) came off. I've stopped the water from pouring out of the rads etc.

The offending compression fitting the collar won't screw down is there anything I can do except buy a new one and complain to XSPC about the thread not working.

I've tried different collars and neither of them screw onto the fitting. I've tried lubricating the thread with water and washing up liquid but that didn't work either.

This happened on my graphics card. :(

Don't even ask.

The fitting most likely can't screw deep enough into the thread.

You will need a spacer like this if you have the same issue

It's not the G1/4 but the collar that goes over the tubing and screws into the fitting from 'above'

I've jerry-rigged the tubes together and taken the rad out as it's only cooling the CPU (Which it wasn't and I almost shit my self)

Just gonna whack the 780 in tomorrow and then fix it eventually. ahah

In that case contact the retailer you bought the fitting from. All the retailers I buy water cooling stuff from have been very accommodating in these situations.
