Hello,

I got a simple question, I want to upgrade my PC. I am a Gamer and of course I want the best possible Result for games, and it should last longer than 3-4 years till I need to upgrade him again.

My specs now are:

GPU: Geforce GTX 650 Ti

CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K CPU @3.40 Ghz

8 GB RAM

I want to change these three things.

Preferably I want to buy the NVIDIA Geforce GTX 780 3GB.

For my CPU and the RAM i just got no idea? Can you help me out?

Sorry for mistakes I am not a native speaker :)

CPU and ram are fine.

If upgrading your GPU be sure that your PSU is powerful enough to power it.

Specs: CPU - Intel i7 8700K @ 5GHz | GPU - Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Motherboard - ASUS Strix Z370-G WIFI AC | RAM - XPG Gammix DDR4-3000MHz 32GB (2x16GB) | Main Drive - Samsung 850 Evo 500GB M.2 | Other Drives - 7TB/3 Drives | CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i Pro | Case - Fractal Design Define C Mini TG | Power Supply - EVGA G3 850W

the only upgrade you really need is the GPU, so you can get a 780Ti if you don't mind keeping the other parts

INTEL CORE I5 4670K | NVIDIA GTX 980 | NOCTUA NH-L9i | GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-SLI | KINGSTON 120GB V300

CM STORM QUICKFIRE TK | BENQ XL2420TE | ROCCAT SAVU | FRACTAL DEFINE R4

I don't really know what a PSU is? Can you name one or better say one that works good with the 780 GTX?

PSU = Power supply unit, it is what supplies power to all the components of your computer.

Power Supply Unit. One that would be good with the GTX780 or R9 290/X would be the EVGA 600B if you're looking to have one graphics card, EVGA 750G2 if you're looking to get two now or down the road.

And a good one?

Corsair CX 600W should be enough.

In my book I'd take the 600B. Similar if not a bit better quality then the CX600 and cheaper (outside of Amazon though)

Could I maybe just combine my GTX 650 with a GTX 780?

Nope, SLI does not allow for that.

K well i dont know why you prefer nvidia, the R9290 is $100 cheaper and performs better/the same in all games. Please tell me what feature is worth $100
