Which Ram ?

Hello guys,

 

I'm going to build my first pc. For the motherboard I'm going with the Asus Maximus VII Hero and for the Cpu I will go with an i7 4790k !

 

Which 8Gb of Ram would you take ? Which frequency should it have and is there a big different in terms of FPS between f.e. 1600Mhz and 2400?

After DDR3-1866 you won't see much of a difference if you compare it to something like 2400, go with 1600 or 1866. Also for the brand I would recommend Kingston HyperX, G.Skill Ripjaws Z or Ripjaws X, or Corsair Vengeance
