Help.

Have bought the Mionix 8200 . Feels great to hold. Quite simply the best.

However, ran into what clearly is a software and firmware problem.

Upon first installation of plug and play, it worked perfectly.

I tried to install the software, but it didn't work. The progress bar stuck at 0% throughout.

So I tried to install the firmware, which was a big mistake. Now the scroll doesn't work, the side DPI indicators are blinking in sequence, and holding down left click+dragging around causes the mouse to pause.

The software still doesn't install.

Has anyone ran into such problems?!

Try deleting everything on your computer that is mionix and has to do with your mouse, and start over. There might be conflicting versions of something somewhere

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it

Right.

So I finally got it to work.

Software installed and firmware upgraded.

A new problem rose.

After shutdown, turns out that at the click of any mouse button, the pc starts itself.

I tried unchecking the "wake computer" setting in the mouse settings under control panel.

This has not been successful.

Your advise would be most appreciated.

ASRock z87 mitx

You most likely have to disable it in bios.

Right....

F2 and DEL brings me both to the UEFI menu...

Under which section do I look for that setting?

I don't know what your UEFI looks like but according to a Google search I would imagine you would find the settings under "Boot" or "Security". Look for something to do with "USB", "wake-up", etc.
