Free Video Editing Software

Hi guys! I am doing a project which requires filming. I have taken all the videos and I had tried different Video Editing Software (Movavi and Videopad). Both software don't allow me to export my video to MP4 file. Do you guys have any Free video editing software that I can use? I'm not gonna buy a premium program as I'm not going to be editing video often so its like a white elephant.

Movie maker may work, but it's limited. There's also lightworks, but it has a fairly large learning curve. Finally, you could perhaps use the trial of premiere/vegas for the one time.

Avidemux. Basic editing and cutting, and wide range of formats.

Openshot, as above.

Lightworks has a free version as well. More features than Avidemux.
