Picking an Android Phone

Long story short, need to pick a small 4G LTE android phone, works on Sprint (For freedompop), must have an SD card slot, unlocked, at least 720p screen, less than $300USD

Long Story:

Up till now I've been using my iPhone 5 on Verizon and my Verizon Note II on T-Mobile, occasionally putting my Verizon SIM in it when my iPhone ran out of power.

But I got a Retina iPad Mini recently so my Note as been reduced to an oversized uPnP server/pixiv checker, so I'm selling it to a friend.

I still need android but don't want to carry around a huge phone anymore, so I want one that can do LTE, is unlocked, and works on sprint, so I can use it on freedompop, since I don't want to pay for my T-Mo sim anymore,

Things I've looked at:

Moto X, loved it, but no SD Card slot

Moto G 4G, loved it, but GSM I'm assuming it doesn't work on sprint,

HTC One M7, no SD card Slot,

Freedompop is offering some phones for "50% off", so I might look into some of them,

I don't think the Z1 Compact fits into your price point either.

It is also a GSM phone. I'm surprised Sprint hasn't switched over tbh.

I'd try and find an S4 off contract. It'd probably be your best bet.

Why do you need the MicroSD?

Ya I saw the price afterwards, plus I think I'd like something smaller than the S4, I don't need anything high powered for my uses either, though freedompop is selling them for $349, and they're probably cheaper elsewhere too,

I'm looking for a phone around the Moto X size, though I might settle for the S4 if I can't find anything I like,

I keep a lot of music, games, and movies on my SD card, using a 64GB card, no expandable storage on iOS is a pain,

I just checked ebay, and I can get a Purple Sprint S4 on ebay for about $250, the purple is a pretty big selling point for me, and a 1080p screen would be nice, so I might go for that.

Any other suggestions would be welcome, since I'm probably not going to buy this for another week or so.

I mentioned in the initial post, the LTE Model of the Moto G doesn't work on sprint, otherwise I'd buy it in a heartbeat,

And as a last resort, I'd probably be fine with the S4, I have friends that have them so I'm familiar with the size, and I'm selling my Note II so I'm used to bigger

If you would like the best camera of all time in a very neat Android smartphone then wait for the Xperia Z2 to come out.

I heard it will be on verizon, otherwise you will have to buy an unlocked one and bring it to the store or just stick with Tmoblie.

I'd just go with an S4. They're really not that big, I'd think you'd be hard pressed to really feel that fraction of an inch size difference between the two. A whopping 6mm.

Anything in that price bracket, with expandable storage is going to be lacking quite a bit in other areas.
