So please before we start a fire war here I am not biased to either brand, Only to Nvidia because NVIDIA.

here is my current build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/SaikaDarkmoon/saved/dwqhP6

I am trying to decide weather to upgrade my CPU in the AMD AM3+ family to avoid the cost of about 150$ on a MB or go intel with an i5 or i7.

Questions~

1. Skyrim modded is one of my main games that I am always trying to push to it's best. This video shows that intel is clearly the better option However, I currently get an average 40FPS outside, 60 inside. If I upgrade the CPU is it pretty promising to see 60FPS outside ?

2. I do edit video editing but not so much anymore, However I do multi task A LOT, Linus may have 33 tabs but I normally run 3 browsers and around 57 tabs. During gaming I keep my main browser up with about 10 tabs, If this helps anyone to make a choice.

3. My MB is actually an OEM HP Angelica 2 by Gigabyte.

Please put your other questions in their appropriate section.

Intel is great with a few things open but if you have 171 tabs open in your browser then AMD might do better than intel. I don't know as I have not seen such an extreme benchmark comparing intel to AMD.

Edit: Forgot to snip OCD nearly caused me to kill my self metaphorically

an 8350 should put a nice skip in your step with that many tabs :P don't get the  fx 9XXX cpus unless you don't overclock  .-. as the 9k series is just 8k cpus binned and OC'ed and there price is RAMPED up because how well the binning is but they still push them to safety limits there's no more OC headroom without winning the lottery or having a crazy set up
