Hi all.

I purchased a 4 into 1 fan splitter and have installed it in my HTPC to run the 3 fans from the CHA_FAN header on my AsRock FM2A88ITX MoBo.

The fans run at the same speed like before, and I have no control over them. In theory, it should be achievable. In practise, it's not.

Can anyone share what I should be doing?

Cheers

:-)

You just split a single connector into multiple connectors that won't change the speed of the fans, you need to go into the mobo's fan control software to be able to vary the speed of the fans, btw I wouldn't put more than 2-3 fans on a mobo fan connector especially if they are high current fans.

Yeah, MoBo is not reading chassis fan RPM at the moment.

The splitter has a Molex connector straight to the PSU, CHA_FAN header plug, and 4 fan connectors.

I'm assuming the fans and splitter are all 4 pin PWM, from what I've been told if it's a 4 pin chassis header they are not "true 4 pin headers" as in they don't actually have PWM control on those connectors, only the CPU header 4 pin has that capability, you'll need to set it to analog control or 3 pin speed control via voltage if that is the case.
