Hey guys I have an upcoming project and need to get some bulk Cat 6 and im just not sure what to get.

I have at least one really long cable run to do (approx 200-250 feet) for sure and possibly two more of maybe not quite as long but pretty long nonetheless. So i want to get 1000 feet of bulk cable.

I just am not sure what exactly to get. I found one for a good price on amazon ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004Y6GRF8/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3NH2CKQAWFDM8 ) and its tempting, but then I noticed the description:

"Cat6 UTP 250 MHz CCA Bulk Cable is ideal for the demands of high speed network installations, whether you are wiring your home or your office. Our Cat6 UTP twisted pair cable has a true 23AWG conductor and meets all of the transmission and physical requirements of category 6 communication cable standards. This cable has been fluke tested and will deliver 250 MHz up to 82M/269ft and even further when running 100 MHz applications. "

I thought CAT 6 was supposed to be able to go to 330 feet? Is this cable terrible or should it be fine for my use?

I need the cable to be reliable. At least 100 megabit, but gigabit would be lovely for some future plans.

thanks for all help (in advance :D)

I buy these:

http://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-In-Wall-Rated-Ethernet/dp/B0049KV52E/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1406857141&sr=8-6&keywords=cat6+cable

Awesome spools(i have had a few thousand feet of this stuff), pretty inexpensive and good quality.

Btw: Ethernet (ALL ethernet) is only good for about 100 meters.

I rewired my computer shop with Belkin cat 6 and have no issues.

ya 100 meters converts to 328 feet so I should be good. I just really like the cable im looking at because its so cheap for 1000 feet. Do you think it'll be fine??

The reviews on it seem ok, i would be careful though because poorly made cable can be a pain in the ass to install.
