Test it on a different hard drive first so you don't lose data on your Windows drive. If you have confirmed that it boots to OS X Desktop, go ahead, partition your Windows drive, install OS X on the other partition, and install a different bootloader that supports both OSes.

First, you should be aware that it is against the apple terms of use you accept during installation.

If you're okay with that, make sure to check that your hardware is compatible. If it's not, you need to be prepared to not have wifi, Ethernet, audio, etc work which will require searching for custom drivers.

Personally, it's not worth the effort. You can get a Mac mini for 500-600$ easily if you want to try out a Mac.
