Infamous-style (superhero) games are fun, but I found Prototype pretty boring and I would be fine with not seeing it pop up again.

I doubt it, after how bad Prototype 2 was recieved. And the developer's laying off staff.

I would be cool with something inspired by it, but with actual plot... and actual characters... and interesting gameplay/progression. Basically everything that Prototype didn't have, but based on the concept of mutant/demon/superpowers/whatever.

My friend's older brother used to work for Radical, the makers of Prototype 1 & 2.

He now works for Ubisoft Montreal after tons of layoffs at radical.

I would be cool with something inspired by it, but with actual plot... and actual characters... and interesting gameplay/progression. Basically everything that Prototype didn't have, but based on the concept of mutant/demon/superpowers/whatever.

I liked the whole mutated alex mercer, but playing it felt like a combination of marvel super heroes tied into one. It got repetitive too quickly tbh.

Yeah, the reason why I liked Infamous was because it was basically the same general idea, but the plot was actually interesting and the powers didn't get old so fast because it was structured like a third-person shooter.

 

Definitely want another superhero open-world game like that, but without all the boring

I did not like the Prototype series to be honest but that doesn't there shouldn't be a 3
