i'm not sure what brand is best, once you choose a size and approximate thickness and maybe fin density it's probably all down to budget and looks really. as for if that will be enough i think so, the general rule of thumb is 1x120 per component which means in theory a triple 120 would work but for a little bit more head room you could add 1x120 or 2x120 to that and you'd most likey be able to do anything you could want with that setup so i think the total of 120x11 will be A LOT more than enough

Alphacool makes some incredible full copper radiators, they are fairly low FPI, but come in thicknesses up to as high as 80mm.

this reminds me, that's another thing you're going to want to consider is the material. try to keep it all one metal so match the the rad to your blocks. i think nickle and copper play nice though so you should be ok there if your blocks are nickle or nickle plated

i was kinda thinking ek because the cosmos 2 doesnt support the monsta

You can always go for the 45mm or the 60mm rads instead, you shouldn't need the monsta. Which EK radiators are you looking at?

With 2 quads and 1 triple you can go with whatever thickness you want really and still be okay. The length alone is a ton of surface area.

Edit: Also, while it is true that more FPI provides more surface area to dissipate the heat with, I would always go for lower FPI thicker radiators, personally. Lower FPI makes it easier for fans to push / pull air through and allows you to run fans with less static pressure and at a lower RPM (for silence).

yea bought the cosmos 2 and then immediately switched to 900D. Talked to the coolermaster guys at Computex and hopefully they listened to some of my suggestions.

I really like my XT45's (240 and 360). Full copper and everything. I've also heard hardware labs has good rads though. Black ice GT is there babe I think. But I would go with that ever you think looks the best between the two.

Hi i am looking to build a ultimate 4k rig and i would like to know which radiator brand is the best (if their is a best) and if 2 quads and 1 triple would be enough to cool a i7 4930k and 2 780ti with koolance water-blocks on them

-Thanks

Alphacool makes the best rads. The UT60 is a good sweet spot, it beats the competition when used with fans at low rpm and keeps up with the high fpi rads at high rpm.

The EK XTX series and BlackIce SR-1 are good too. There are multiple rad configs that can kill the heat on your CPU + GPU's. 2x 360, 360 + 480 would already be enough. Of course depending on how much you're willing to spend, the more rads = the lower the rpm you can run the fans at. You can get good temps, with insanely low noise.

Bert & Ernie before squirting spermie.
