So...personally, right now, I'm livid.

But I'm not much for mindless anger. So, I'm just gonna take solace in your own stories of shittiness coming straight from the good ole' USPS.

I ordered those Superlux HD668B Headphones that were on Massdrop over a month ago. I have friends that have gotten stuff on Massdrop before; And the general view of Massdrop seemed fine on this forum. Little did I know the problems would come from where they always have.

I ordered them, and put down my address. No biggy. I was told they would ship via UPS.

My heart almost stopped when I saw "USPS" the day they gave us our tracking numbers.

I immediately wrote Massdrop, was able to call in, and affirm with the USPS (after some trouble, of course), a change of address for delivery. To my P.O. Box, as my house isn't on the USPS route.

So, a few days roll by. Shipping is going smoothly; I see that it's going to be delivered today. Woo!

Nope. I got home, started a pot of coffee, and no shitting you, I looked outside as the mailman stopped in front of my house, looked into the back of his truck, looked back to my house, then drove away.

I rushed outside and tried to yell him down. Not happening.

So I call the USPS. No answer, over 60 calls, to five different offices. What the fuck.

I go down to the office, and am told that it was delivered.

"No it wasn't."

"Yes it was."

"No. It wasn't."

"Uhm-hmmm, it was."

"No. It. Was. Not. I literally watched nothing get delivered, nothing should be delivered to my house, and I had the delivery address changed."

"Sir, I'm going to have to ask that you calm down."

I didn't even raise my voice. It was day one of issues, I wasn't too butthurt about things.

"Please leave."

She told me to leave.
I almost flipped shit.

But promptly walked out, sat in my car for a couple minutes, then went home.

This was on the 14th.

As you can tell, it has been 11 days. I have called, every, single, day, over 50 times a day, only to have been answered four times total, to be sent on a skew of random transfers, and in the end, being told "Yeah, I dunno."

I'm not even much for racism; But it does bother me that when I FINALLY get someone on the phone, the majority of the time, I have to keep repeating myself, or ask them to repeat themselves, because they don't speak English very well at all.

I feel terrible because of it, because I know they simply need a job, and they they usually try whatever's within their power once they are on the phone, but it's just not enough, and it's never clear. Just today, a woman answered the phone that had to hand it off to someone else because she couldn't understand me (I do voice-overs and vocals for part of my income, I have a very clear voice and all), only to have the next person in line have to hand it off to a supervisor, because he couldn't understand me. I'm a mellow person as well; I gave them time to speak, and tried to be nice and clear with my speech, to no avail. Fifteen minutes of a call, only to be handed to a supervisor that refused to help.

I've reported a few offices and employees over this. Over some cheap headphones. I've probably spent more on gas than I have the headphones. I'm beyond irritated.

And it sucks to see myself, who is usually fairly calm and collected, get worked up over this.

It's also probably partly a buildup of stress, as I've just graduated and am living with my grandparents between living arrangements (I have a house set up that currently has a tenant in it, few more weeks until I'm out of here...), and record very frequently to make a living. And my grandma is that type of person that just...hangs in doorways...walks in unannounced...and refuses to listen in any way shape or form, nor learn anything. I've spoken to her on multiple occasions, including before I moved in, about how I need people to not be yelling through the house so I can make money. Ugh.

I've even lost 16lbs since graduating. I think I may be getting hit with depression, triggered by gradual stress buildup. Shit sucks, man.

USPS, not UPS. But general bad-mail experiences in general, all are welcome!

I really wish that we'd just make organic hardware already, that grows and adapts to the demands it needs to meet. That way, grannies' computers can be floppy sacks of organicness and the 12 year old Minecrafters will look like the guys that only do bicep curls, and the nerdy programmers will finally have justice, with their body-builder rigs that skipped leg day.

Bottom line is all carriers are prone to ****ing up once in awhile. This time, it just happened to be you. USPS, FedEx, UPS etc are all good carriers 99.99% of the time.

I've never personally had a good experience using USPS. It may just be the area, but I don't see how it could be this bad here.

Even when I got standard mail at my home, someone else's mail was in my box, or mine in someone else's, almost weekly. Consistently every-other-week.

With special order items, ie: packages, it has never gone right for me. And I don't understand how it could simply be, "My luck is just that bad."

I don't misinform them. I'm fairly easy to work with. But it just never goes smoothly.
