URGENT Hard Drive Help Needed!

Well. I don't even know where to begin.

This afternoon, I was excited because I was going to dual boot Ubuntu. I started trying to install it, and I couldn't find the partition of my hard drive that I had set up for it. I try finding it multiple times, with no results. So, I boot back into Windows to find that one of my hard drives was gone. I went to disk management, and found that it was still listed there as a "Dynamic Disk", yet I was unable to access any of the stuff on it (game saves, school docs, photos & videos, passwords, etc).

Immediately I knew this wasn't a good thing. I tried converting it back to a basic disk, but it came up with a warning saying that I might lose data. I looked back, and one of my partitions had appeared. Unfortunately, this one just had my games on it, not even game saves. So I really didn't have anything on there that I couldn't get back. I searched the interwebs for about an hour trying to find a way to restore the drive, and none of them worked.

So, I said "what the heck" and ignored the warning I had encountered earlier. It get converted back to a "Basic Disk", without any data. I figured maybe if I changed it back to a dynamic I would be able to save some stuff (I was extremely frustrated, no clue why I thought that), and that's where I am now. It is in a FAT32 format right now, when I need it in an NTFS format, but I have no clue how to get it back.

I know that was a lot and I know that probably 99% of the people on here are not hard drive experts, but I would really appreciate any help.
