Cable for networking house?

Hi all,

 

I have an opportunity to network my house and I'm going to take advantage of it.

 

I was hoping for a recommendation for cabling that would sort me for the foreseeable future - I am thinking CAT6A, if anyone has any specific recommendation for brand etc would be appreciated. I'm going to write it into faceplates in wall.

for home networking Cat5E, It will do 1gbit no problems (unless you live in a mansion... usually quite a bit cheaper than cat6

I have actually bought a few of these for myself, clients, and etc.

 

Edit: careful of really cheap cable, depending on the materials used it can make it harder to terminate (stiffer and less malleable). And if you spend a day cabling with crap cable you will hate life.
