First time computer build

Hi, welcome to the forum!
I assume you have a monitor and stuff already?
Also I think this topic would be more suitable in "new builds and planning"- but don't post it there, a mod can move this one.
Also being 'super sexy' is different to each person as what I think looks good might not be your opinion of good So I opted for a good looking case without it being gaudy and impractical.
If you can stretch your budget 10% this would be great:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($184.99 @ NCIX US)Motherboard: ASRock H97M Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($75.66 @ Newegg)Memory: Kingston Blu Red Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($71.88 @ NCIX US)Storage: Crucial M500 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($72.00 @ Amazon)Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($49.99 @ Amazon)Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon R9 280 3GB WINDFORCE Video Card ($216.99 @ Newegg)Case: NZXT Source 210 Elite (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case ($44.99 @ Mwave)Power Supply: Corsair Builder 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($34.99 @ Newegg)Other: Windows 8.1/7 From either G2A or /r/softwareswap (reddit) ($15.00)Total: $766.49Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Or the 2nd option- which is probably the best option for your use scenario- especially when overclocked.

I believe if you live near a microcentre you can get bundles or so with FX8320s at $99.
