Sprint coverage in the SF Bay Area

So I might switch to Ting, but I am hesitant to because if have heard such bad things about Sprint's network. I live in the SF Bay Area, anyone else live near me and have Ting/Sprint? And yes I know about the coverage maps, but I wanted more of an actual use case. Do you have service most of the time, is it LTE, is it fast enough.
