In the specs it says it can CrossfireX, coukd u get 2 lower end AMD's. And why doesn't it SLI?

which version of the B85M you got there's like 3 or 4 of them?!

SLI requires certification which costs money.

 

Hence why it isn't on low end boards.

 

It also requires extra bandwidth (8x minimum) over the X-Fires 4x requirement.

 

You could get lower end AMD cards. But I wouldn't know why you'd want to.

Ok, thanks for the explanation.  really doubt ill put 2 GPU' in here. Just don't like  open slots on the board.

 

Ive been using EVGA cards for a lot of years, anyways. Had a bad experience with an ATI before and haven't bought one since.

AMD's I know are better price/performance.

 

Original plan is for a 750 Ti, but maybe, just MAYBE I could be persuaded to AMD.
