I'd suggest getting the G230 if you are planning on getting into gaming commentaries.

My friend has one and he is creating some killer content with his pair.

but i will also be using it for some other videos -commentary

can you send me a video of him so i can hear the mic?

It should work well for any kind of videos as long as the settings are right.

My friend doesn't post his videos publicly so I can't really show you them, but he hasn't made any in awhile.

All I can say is that they were really good, he made freelance review videos too though (for companies) so if that's something your into then the G230 would be fine, otherwise for general speaking get the Razor.

the 350se, or the hyper x if you want to save a little and sacrifice a little.

still the yeti + pure headphone e.g. akg 142hd or the marshall monitors would be nice aswell.

Modmic, zalman clip on, blue snowball, or samson meteor. The last 2 are about the same quality so get w/e is cheaper.

what mic does pewdiepie use?

after a quick research who pewdiepie is, i looked up on fb and some forums and some say its Samson C01U, Blue Yeti and others say some equip that is well over 1000usd, but a few said it maybe a potato.

i personally think its a mic that no one can afford, but at the same time i think you should look no further than a 100-150usd mic or  just a decent headset.

and i dont know of a better headset than the 350se, besides audiotechnica ath ag1.

If one does not fail at times, then one has not challenged himself.

An expensive desktop mic. You can't get recordings like that from headset mics. With that said, the modmic is pretty good if you absolutely want something attached to your headphones.

so the only option is to get either the audiotechica

or get a cheap headest with a good mic?

You can get something like DT770 or DT990 with a samson meteor and that would be a good middleground. Modmic is the best choice for a mic attached to your headphones.

No the mic LTT uses is a $1000 Lapel mic. You can't get close to that with the audiotechnica. And yes. The yeti should be better. The audiotechnica is super overpriced. You're paying like $150 for the mic attached to the headphone. Might as well get a modmic.
