windows 8.1 question

JxStaalx11

ok so i bought new hardware last couple of weeks.  my old SSD died on me half a year a ago and for the time being just replaced it with a WDB HDD.  that HDD has windows 8.1 on it.  i bought a new Samsung 840 pro series SSD for my new rig but im not quite sure how to uninstall windows 8.1 on my WDB HDD and put it onto my SSD.  my SSD is running the windows 8 right now.

Hmmm not sure, but in the bios try booting off the ssd and hopefully it'll boot into windows 8 then just update it and delete the other one..

Or format the ssd and use a hard drive cloning/ssd boot setup tool to transfer stuff across?
